Hard Disk S.M.A.R.T

Monitor the hard disk drives (HDD) health, temperature, and the usage status by

HDD S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology).

The following information of each hard drive on the NVR is available.

Field

Description

Summary

Display the hard drive S.M.A.R.T. summary and the latest test result.

Hard disk

information

Display the hard drive details, for example, model, serial number, HDD

capacity.

SMART

information

Display the hard drive S.M.A.R.T. information. Any items that the values

are lower than the threshold are regarded as abnormal.

Test

Perform quick or complete hard drive S.M.A.R.T. test.

Settings

Configure temperature alarm. When the hard drive temperature is over

the preset values, the NVR records the error logs.

You can also set the quick and complete test schedule. The latest test

result is shown on the Summary page.
