Chapter 3 Start to Use NVR

When you have installed NVR and other hardware, and connected it to the network,

you can use the browser in your PC to connect to NVR. It is recommended to use

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 for browsing.

Important Notice:

Before you start to use NVR, you must install a hard disk or two in NVR, finish disk

volume configuration and format the hard disk(s). Otherwise, the system may not

function properly. Please refer to Chapter 5.4.1

for disk volume configuration

details.

3.1 Connect to NVR

Follow the steps below to connect to NVR monitoring page:

1. Open an IE browser and enter the IP address of NVR. Or execute the Finder

shortcut on the Desktop. When the following screen is shown, double click the

name of NVR.
